반도체의 정전기 보호 대책, 회로 등이 공정에 따라 설계한 범위에서 정상적으로 동작하는지 시험평가하기 위해사용되며 정전기 발생시 설계한 정전기 회로가 견딜 수 있는 최대 전류, 전압, 저항값 등의 데이터 정보를 획득
